RMKS/1. IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT I ANNOUNCE THE SELECTION OF
NAVAL BASE CORONADO AS THE NAVY'S WINNER OF THE 2008 COMMANDER IN
CHIEF'S ANNUAL AWARD FOR INSTALLATION EXCELLENCE.
2. THIS AWARD RECOGNIZES ONE INSTALLATION FROM EACH SERVICE WHOSE
COMMAND HAS MADE BEST USE OF AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO ACCOMPLISH ITS
ASSIGNED MISSION, AND HAS FOCUSED ON INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT ACTIONS THAT
HAVE ENHANCED WORK FORCE PRODUCTIVITY WHILE IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF

A. KECK, WILL BE HONORED IN A JOINT SERVICE CEREMONY ON 8 MAY 2008 IN

AND I EXTEND A SINCERE "WELL DONE" TO THE SECOND PLACE WINNER:
