RMKS/1.  PER REF A, ON 1 JUN 12, COMMANDER NAVY INTELLIGENCE RESERVE COMMAND 
(CNIRC) WAS RENAMED TO COMMANDER INFORMATION DOMINANCE CORPS RESERVE COMMAND 
(CIDCRC).  REF B DEFINES THE INFORMATION DOMINANCE CORPS (IDC) AS INCLUSIVE OF 
OFFICER AND ENLISTED MILITARY (BOTH ACTIVE AND RESERVE) AND CIVILIAN 
PERSONNEL.

2.  CIDCRC IS THE RESERVE IDC TYPE COMMANDER AND IN THIS CAPACITY IS 
RESPONSIBLE TO RECRUIT, TRAIN, AND PROFESSIONALLY DEVELOP IDC RESERVE SAILORS 
IN THE FOLLOWING DESIGNATORS/RATINGS:
A.  INFORMATION PROFESSIONAL OFFICER (182X, 642X, 742X DESIGNATORS).
B.  INFORMATION WARFARE OFFICER (181X, 644X, 744X DESIGNATORS).
C.  INTELLIGENCE OFFICER (183X, 645X, 745X DESIGNATORS).
D.  SPACE CADRE (5500X OR 6206X SUBSPECIALTY CODES OR VSX AQD).
E.  CRYPTOLOGIC TECHNICIAN (CTN, CTT, CTI, CTR RATINGS) ENLISTED PERSONNEL.
F.  INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST (IS) ENLISTED PERSONNEL.
G.  INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (IT) ENLISTED PERSONNEL.

3.  PER REF B, NAVAL OCEANOGRAPHY OFFICERS AND ENLISTED PERSONNEL ARE INCLUDED 
IN THE INFORMATION DOMINANCE CORPS.  COMMANDER NAVAL METEOROLOGY AND 
OCEANOGRAPHY COMMAND IS RESPONSIBLE TO RECRUIT, TRAIN, AND PROFESSIONALLY 
DEVELOP IDC SAILORS IN THE OCEANOGRAPHY OFFICER (180X, 646X DESIGNATORS) AND 
AEROGRAPHERS MATE (AG) RATING, AND REMAINS THE OCEANOGRAPHY TYCOM FOR BOTH 
ACTIVE DUTY AND RESERVE COMPONENT.

4.  THE MISSION OF CIDCRC IS TO PROVIDE QUALIFIED INFORMATION DOMINANCE 
PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE READY TO BE EMPLOYED ACROSS THE OPERATIONAL CONTINUUM TO 
SUPPORT AND AUGMENT THE FLEET, COMBATANT COMMANDS, AND DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE 
AGENCIES IN SUPPORT OF ASSIGNED MISSIONS AND NATIONAL STRATEGIC GOALS.  IDCRC 
PERSONNEL ARE READY TO DEPLOY FORWARD AS WELL AS PROVIDE OPERATIONAL SUPPORT 
DURING RESERVE COMPONENT DRILL, ANNUAL TRAINING, AND EXTENDED ACTIVE DUTY 
ASSIGNMENTS.

5.  CIDCRC IS AN ECHELON IV SHORE ACTIVITY IN AN ACTIVE STATUS UNDER A SELRES 
IDC FLAG OFFICER COMMANDER REPORTING DIRECTLY TO COMMANDER, NAVY RESERVE 
FORCES COMMAND WITH ADDITIONAL DUTY TO COMMANDER, NAVY CYBER FORCES COMMAND.  
CIDCRC HAS DIRECT LIAISON AUTHORITY TO THE DIRECTOR NAVAL INTELLIGENCE 
(DNI)/DEPUTY CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS FOR INFORMATION DOMINANCE (OPNAV N2N6), 
THE PROGRAM AND PRIMARY RESOURCE SPONSOR FOR CIDCRC.  CIDCRC UNITS 
OPERATIONALLY REPORT TO THE ACTIVE SUPPORTED COMMAND.
