RMKS/1.  The Navy White House Military Social Aide Program is looking for 
talented Junior Naval Officers in the grades of O-2 to O-4 to serve as Social 
Aides at the White House, as established in reference (a).

2.  The program consists of approximately 60 military officers from all 
branches.  Social Aides fill a crucial role at the White House in assisting 
the President and First Lady of the United States as they host guests and 
dignitaries from around the world.
Social Aides assist the President with diplomatic protocol at State events, 
meetings with the leaders of Congress and the Federal Judiciary, Medal of 
Honor ceremonies, and other significant social events.

3.  Social Aides' roles at the White House is in addition to their primary 
military duties. Eligible Officers meet the following requirements:
    a.  Stationed at a command in the National Capital Region (NCR), as 
defined in reference (b), and including Anne Arundel County, MD.
    b.  Have at least two years remaining on NCR orders.
    c.  Have at least 18 months remaining before becoming eligible to promote 
to O-5.
    d.  Hold a clearance of Secret or higher and eligible to pass 
Presidential Support Duty security screenings.
    e.  Receive full command endorsement.

4.  Expected time commitment includes: at least one (1) event per week 
throughout the year, roughly 40 hours over the first two weeks of December in 
support of the White House Holiday season, and the flexibility to support 
short notice requests (24-48 hours) at the White House.

Completed applications are due on 11 April 2025.  Favorably screened 
applicants can expect an in-person interview in the weeks following 
application submission.
