RMKS/1.  THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS SEVENTH SEMI-ANNUAL FLEET 
DIVERSITY COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, 15 APRIL 2008 FROM 0800- 
PAGE 02 RUCOMFB0715 UNCLAS 1600, AT THE ADMIRAL KIDD CATERING AND 
CONFERENCE CENTER ON NAVAL BASE POINT LOMA.
2.  THE PURPOSE OF THE FLEET DIVERSITY COUNCIL IS TO EDUCATE SAILORS, 
OFFICERS, AND CIVILIANS ON THE VALUE OF DIVERSITY AND THE NAVYS MANY 
DIVERSITY INITIATIVES.  THIS COUNCIL MEETING SPECIFICALLY TARGETS 
PARTICIPATION FROM NAVAL BASE POINT LOMA, NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO, AND 
NAVAL BASE CORONADO.  COMMAND FUNDED TRAVEL FROM OTHER AREAS IS 
AUTHORIZED.
3.  COUNCIL ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO 300 PERSONNEL.  YOUR ASSISTANCE IS 
NEEDED IN IDENTIFYING VOLUNTEERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COUNCIL MEETING.  
VOLUNTEERS ARE SOUGHT FROM ALL RANKS, RATINGS, GS LEVELS, GENDER, AND 
ETHNICITIES.
4.  THIS COUNCIL MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED IN TWO SEPARATE SESSIONS.
COMMANDING OFFICERS, OFFICERS-IN-CHARGE, EXECUTIVE OFFICERS, COMMAND 
MASTER CHIEFS AND CHIEFS OF BOATS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE 
FIRST SESSION FROM 0800-1000.  ALL OTHER PERSONNEL SHOULD ATTEND THE 
SECOND SESSION FROM 1300-1600.  THE FIRST SESSION WILL FOCUS PRIMARILY 
ON LEADERSHIP INVOLVEMENT IN DIVERSITY AND SOLICIT FEEDBACK PAGE 03 
RUCOMFB0715 UNCLAS FROM SENIOR LEADERS.  THE SECOND SESSION WILL 
CONSIST OF GENERAL DIVERSITY TRAINING FOR ALL RANKS THROUGH BRIEFS AND 
DISCUSSIONS.
