RMKS/1.  This NAVADMIN announces the 2022 recipients of the Captain Joy 
Bright Hancock and Master Chief Anna Der-Vartanian Leadership Awards.  
Congratulations to the following award recipients who were selected for their 
inspirational leadership, both on and off-duty:
    a.  Senior Officer:  LCDR Emily A. Curran, PCU JOHN F. KENNEDY (CVN 79);
    b.  Junior Officer:  LT Christina A. Danai, USS MANCHESTER (LCS
14) GOLD;
    c.  LDO/CWO:  LT Natalia F. Luchetti, Special Projects Patrol Squadron 
TWO (VPU-2);
    d.  Senior Enlisted:  MAC(SW/AW/IW) Markeeta Y. Hardin, USS CARL VINSON 
(CVN 70);
     e.  Junior Enlisted:  HM1(FMF) Brittany M. Robinson, Combat Logistics 
Regiment 27, 2D Marine Logistics Group.

2.  Established in 1987, the Captain Joy Bright Hancock and Master Chief Anna 
Der-Vartanian Leadership Awards are presented annually to honor the visionary 
leadership of Navy Service members whose ideals and dedication foster an 
inclusive culture by furthering the integration of women into the Navy.

3.  Candidates were nominated by their Commanding Officers (COs) and 
Officers-in-Charge (OICs) with endorsements from their Immediate Superior in 
Command (ISIC).  The 2022 winners were then selected from over 98 high-
caliber nominations by convening boards composed of Office of the Chief of 
Naval Operations (OPNAV) senior leaders.

4.  These awards will be formally presented at the Joint Women's Leadership 
Symposium, held on 11-12 July 2022 in Norfolk, VA.  PERS-
4 will make travel arrangements for award winners.
