AS OVERSEAS CITIZENS VOTERS WEEK. ALL LOCAL AND INSTALLATION VOTING
ASSISTANCE OFFICERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HOLD ACTIVE PROMOTIONS TO
ENCOURAGE NAVY CITIZENS TO TAKE PART IN THE ELECTION PROCESS BY
REGISTERING TO VOTE.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: HOLDING
REGISTRATION DRIVES DURING JULY 4TH CELEBRATIONS, ADVERTISING IN LOCAL
MILITARY MEDIA, SETTING UP AWARENESS AND REGISTRATION BOOTHS IN COMMON
AREAS, HOLDING UNIT TRAINING, AND PLAN OF THE DAY OR WEEK NOTICES.
2. REGION VOTING ASSISTANCE OFFICERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PROVIDE
ASSISTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO SUBORDINATE UNITS AS NEEDED IN ADDITION
TO CONDUCTING PROMOTIONS WITHIN THEIR UNIT.
