RMKS/1. The Chief of Naval Operations is pleased to announce the Annual Navy
Intelligence Fellowship Program Opportunity for 2022-2023. The Central
Intelligence Agency (CIA) will host the 12-month program to provide the Navy
fellow with an opportunity to work with the CIA Office of the Associate
Director for Military Affairs, which coordinates, plans, executes and
sustains worldwide activities that serve as the interface between the CIA and
Department of Defense (DoD), based on priorities established by the Director,
CIA to
achieve national security objectives.
2. This program is open to Information Warfare (IW) officers in the
cryptologic (1810) and intelligence (1830) warfare designators to enhance
Navy IW exposure to national capabilities and organizations. Navy military
captains and commanders must have the following qualifications: Masters
degree, post-milestone or post-command O5, or any O6, and Joint Professional
Military Education Phase I prior to being selected, or on schedule to
complete by the end of this program. Reference (a) provides a sample
application package, sample curriculum vitae, service obligation, general
utilization tour requirements, and additional eligibility requirements, which
are available on the Department of the Navy issuances website

3. Applications are due 30 September 2021. Send completed applications via
encrypted e-mail to both the Naval Intelligence Activity point of contact
listed above and the candidates detailer. If unable to send encrypted e-
mail, utilize the DoD Safe Web Application at https://safe.apps.mil/.
Hard copy applications will not be accepted.
