RMKS/1.  The Chief of Naval Operations is pleased to announce the Office of 
the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Military Fellowship Program for 
2021 -2022.  This 10-month fellowship will start in August 2021 and take 
place at ODNI in McLean, Virginia.  The fellowship will provide Information 
Warfare officers (18X0) a unique opportunity to interact with leaders across 
the intelligence community and increase their understanding of policy 
development and decision-making at the highest levels of government while 
integrating national security, governance, and information technology 
concerns.

2.  This program is open to 18X0 Captains and Commanders with the following
qualifications:  masters degree, post-milestone or post-command O-5 or any O-
6, and Joint Professional Military Education Phase I complete prior 
selection, or on track to be completed by the end of this program.  A sample 
application package, additional eligibility requirements, service obligation, 
and general utilization tour requirements are listed in reference (a), 
available on the Department of the Navy Issuances website 
(https://www.secnav.navy.mil/doni/default.aspx).

3.  Applications are due 6 September 2020.  Send completed applications via 
encrypted e-mail to both the OPNAV point of contact and the candidates 
detailer.  If unable to send encrypted e-mail, utilize the Department of 
Defense Secure Access File Exchange (SAFE) web application, located at 
https://safe.apps.mil.  Hard copy applications will not be accepted.
