SUBJ/FY11 NATIONAL SECURITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM//

RMKS/1.  THIS NAVADMIN SOLICITS APPLICATIONS FOR THE NATIONAL SECURITY 
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (NSMP).  APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 24 SEPTEMBER 
2010 FOR THE FY11 SELECTION BOARD.

2.  NSMP IS A DOD-SPONSORED FOUR-WEEK COURSE OFFERED AT GEORGE WASHINGTON 
UNIVERSITY FOCUSING ON VARIOUS ASPECTS OF NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY.  
PARTICIPANTS WILL ATTEND THE SENIOR MANAGER COURSE IN NATIONAL SECURITY.  THE 
COURSE CONVENING MONTH HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED.  HISTORICALLY, THE COURSE HAS 
BEEN OFFERED IN MARCH/APRIL OR JUNE.

3.  APPLICANTS MUST BE TOP-PERFORMING ACTIVE-DUTY, OR FULL TIME SUPPORT ON THE 
ACTIVE DUTY LIST, UNRESTRICTED LINE (URL) CAPTAINS OR CAPTAIN-SELECTS WHO HOLD 
A MASTER'S DEGREE OR PROVEN SUBSPECIALTY.  PARTICIPANTS WILL INCUR TWO YEARS 
OBLIGATED SERVICE UPON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE.

4.  REPORTING SENIORS SHOULD SUBMIT NOMINATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT TO 
CENTER FOR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPPD) VOLUNTARY EDUCATION

    A.  NOMINEE RANK, NAME, SSN/DESIGNATOR;
    B.  COMMAND ADDRESS, TELEPHONE (DSN AND COMM), E-MAIL ADDRESS, AND AN 
ALTERNATE E-MAIL ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR THE NOMINEE FOR CONTACT 
PURPOSES;
    C.  NOMINEE LEVEL OF EDUCATION ATTAINED;
    D.  NOMINEE OPERATIONAL, TECHNICAL, AND MANAGERIAL SPECIALTIES AND

5.  SELECTEES WILL RECEIVE FULL TUITION, ROOM AND BOARD, AND TRAVEL FUNDING.
