RMKS/1.  This NAVADMIN announces convening of the Acquisition Corps Membership Selection Board 
on 10 October 2013.  Acquisition Corps Membership is a prerequisite for assignment to one of 
approximately
700 Department of the Navy (DoN) critically-coded acquisition billets.

3.  In order to be considered for membership, perspective applicants must meet all of the prerequisites 
for Defense Acquisition Corps membership, of chapter 9 of ref (a), prior to the application due date.

4.  Applications (no endorsements required) must be received no later than 16 September 2013 to be 
considered by the board.  Application should include a copy of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) 
transcript, Electronic Director Acquisition Career Manager (eDACM) Dashboard (from individual's 
eDACM account) and college transcript (copies of the college transcripts are acceptable) to document 
compliance with the business academic requirement.  To ensure submitted package is accepted, all 
necessary documentation must be included.  

5.  The preferred method of submitting applications is by mail.  
Submission of application from multiple methods is strongly discouraged.

Applications will also be accepted via encrypted e-mail (signed copies only) for those officers deployed 
aboard ships or stationed at remote sites where regular mail could be disrupted.  Email packages to

2013 will not be accepted and will be returned to applicant or destroyed.
