SUBJ/FY-14 SCHEDULE FOR SENIOR ENLISTED LEADERSHIP COURSE//
RMKS/1. This NAVADMIN announces that the FY-14 schedule for the senior
enlisted leadership course, a seminar in military justice and civil law, to
senior enlisted leaders of all branches of service (E8/E9). Personnel in
paygrade E7 may attend on a space-available basis. Prior attendees have
given the course outstanding marks for increasing awareness of current legal
issues and promoting efficiency in handling legal matters.
2. Naval Justice School has transitioned to the Enterprise Naval Training
Reservation System (ENTRS) for all quota requests. Course registrations will
no longer be accepted via email, phone or fax.
All quota requests should be made via the ENTRS system website at
https://main.prod.cetars.training.navy.mil/cetars. Select "request access"
from the initial login screen and fill out the application.
A web guide and user manual are available on the site. Commands are
responsible for system familiarization. Applicants should ensure accuracy
and completeness of data when completing the application.
Incomplete or inaccurate data may result in disapproval of your request.
3. Commanders, commanding officers, and officers in charge are encouraged to
send their senior enlisted leaders to this two-day seminar to be held at
several locations listed below. Those having completed similar training in
the past are encouraged to attend as a refresher. The course will address a
wide range of legal issues, including non-punitive measures, non-judicial
punishment, administrative separations, self-incrimination, drug abuse
detection, search and seizure, and dealing with civil authorities.

6. Quota cancellations: Cancellations received less than five workdays
prior to the class convening date may result in a no-show report for the
command due to lost training opportunities for other commands. Quotas may be
cancelled via email, phone, or ENTRS. Quotas cancelled via ENTRS must be
followed up by an email or phone call to the appropriate registrar.
7. This course is not a substitute for the Legal Officer Course
(S-SF-0014) or the Legal Clerk Course (S-512-0009).
8. Travel and per diem costs are the responsibility of individual commands.
