RMKS/1. On Memorial Day 2012, a Presidential Proclamation officially launched 
the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. This 13-year 
commemoration will assist a grateful nation to thank and honor our Vietnam 
Veterans and their families.

2. The Commemorative Partner Program is designed for federal, state and local 
communities, veterans' organizations and other non-governmental organizations 
to assist a grateful nation in thanking and honoring our Vietnam Veterans and 
their families. 

3. The Commemorative Partner Program is requesting participation of U.S. Navy 
installations, activities, and organizations to become a commemorative 
partner of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.
