UNDERWAY OPERATIONS AND COMPLETING
978 FLIGHT HOURS, OF WHICH 39 PERCENT WERE AT NIGHT.  TH E USS LEYTE 
GULF/HSL 48 TEAM FULLY EMBRACED OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT AND 
INTEGRATED SAFETY PREPAREDNESS INTO EVERY AVIATION EVOLUTION.  THEY 
SHARED THEIR KNOWLEDGE WITH THE FLEET THROUGH SUBMISSION OF HAZREPS, 
LESSONS LEARNED MESSAGES, AND 200 PUBLICATION CHANGE REQUESTS.
3.  USS DUBUQUE MAINTAINED AN OUTSTANDING AVIATION SAFETY RECORD WHILE 
CONDUCTING MORE THAN 340 MISHAP-FREE FLIGHT HOURS DURING DEPLOYMENT IN 
THE THIRD, FIFTH, AND SEVENTH FLEET AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.  DURING 
CALENDAR YEAR 2006, USS DUBUQUE CONDUCTED
554 DAY LANDINGS, 695 NIGHT LANDINGS, TRANSFERRED 1,350 PASSENGERS, AND 
80 TONS OF CARGO.
