RMKS/1.  The Commanding Officer for the Blue Angels 2018-2019 air show 
seasons will be selected in April 2017.

2.  Interested officers should submit requests for consideration via their 
immediate reporting senior to:

Letters of endorsement or recommendation from persons other than the 
reporting senior are encouraged and will be incorporated into the package of 
the applicant.  The selection process will include a personal interview by 
the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) and a hand-picked group of Aviation 
Leaders on 2-4 April 2017 at Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL.  Specific 
details can be found in reference (a).

3.  Applications must be received by Tuesday, 31 January 2017. Applicants 
must have 3,000 flight hours and be in command, or have had command of a 
tactical jet squadron.  Letters of application should include experience, 
qualifications, complete biography and a completed Navy Flight Demonstration 
Squadron (Blue Angels) Applicant Information Sheet (CNATRA form 1331/1) 
located in reference (a), on the CNATRA website, www.CNATRA.navy.mil.
