AMPN/REF A IS NAVADMIN 265/13 REGARDING DELEGATION GUIDANCE FOR TRAVEL DURING 
GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN.

Rmks/1. The process and procedures set forth in ref a are cancelled.

2. All commands will utilize the same review/approval routing, authorities 
and guidance for travel, contracts and conferences that were in place on 30 
September 2013 prior to the government shutdown. Ensure your commands are 
adhering to budget control act/sequestration guidance and conditions. Any 
travel or contract approval packages for which you have not received a 
positive response should at this point be resubmitted via previously 
established approval chains to ensure timely review.

3. The Continuing Resolution (CR) only covers appropriations until 15 January 
2014. In the event of another Government shutdown, commands will receive 
guidance and procedures that will direct how to proceed via separate 
correspondence.
