GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  I WISH ALL WHO ARE SERVING TODAY - SAILORS, NAVY 
CIVILIANS, AND FAMILIES - A JOYOUS HOLIDAY SEASON.  THE HOLIDAYS 
PROVIDE A WELCOME OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND 
LOVED ONES, AND I URGE EACH OF YOU TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY 
OPPORTUNITY.
2.  THIS HOLIDAY FINDS US SERVING AT SEA WITH OUR PARTNER SEA SERVICES, 
THE MARINE CORPS AND COAST GUARD; AND STANDING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER 
WITH THEM, THE ARMY, AND AIR FORCE, SUPPORTING A JOINT FIGHT THAT IS 
CRITICAL TO OUR NATION?S FUTURE.  I AM HONORED TO SERVE AS YOUR CHIEF 
OF NAVAL OPERATIONS DURING A TIME WHEN OUR NAVY'S REPUTATION - YOUR 
REPUTATION - IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.
3.  FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY
