RMKS/1. EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE. THIS MESSAGE APPLIES TO ALL NAVY
PERSONNEL, UNIFORMED AND CIVILIAN. ECHELON II COMMANDERS AND ALL
REGIONAL COMMANDERS SHALL ENSURE WIDEST DISSEMINATION TO ALL
SUBORDINATE AND TENANT COMMANDS AND DETACHMENTS FOR ACTION AS REQUIRED.
2. THE FOLLOWING GEOGRAPHIC AREAS OF INTEREST (GAOI) HAVE BEEN
ESTABLISHED FOR EXERCISE CPA 08-2. EACH AREA IS TO BE TREATED
SEPARATELY AND WILL REQUIRE SEPARATE ACCOUNTING ACTIONS.
A. SOUTHEAST: THE STATES OF ALABAMA, MISSISSIPPI, FLORIDA, GEORGIA,
SOUTH CAROLINA, LOUISIANA, AND TEXAS AND THE BAHAMAS, GUANTANAMO BAY
CUBA, PUERTO RICO AND THE US VIRGIN ISLANDS.
B. PACIFIC: THE STATE OF HAWAII, THE ISLAND OF GUAM, THE BRITISH
INDIAN OCEAN TERRITORY (DIEGO GARCIA) AND THE COUNTRIES OF JAPAN, THE
REPUBLIC OF KOREA AND SINGAPORE.
3. UNODIR COMMENCE PERSONNEL ACCOUNTABILITY (PA) ACTIONS PER REFS A
THRU D AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER STORM EFFECTS SUBSIDE.
A. FOR EXERCISE PURPOSES STORM EFFECTS SUBSIDE AT 051200Z MAY 08 FOR
SOUTHEAST GAOI AND AT 051900Z MAY 08 FOR PACIFIC GAOI.
B. ALL COMMANDS MUSTER ALL PERSONNEL, INCLUDING FAMILY MEMBERS.
C. UTILIZE THE NAVY FAMILY ACCOUNTABILITY AND ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
(NFAAS) SUPPORT SITE AT HTTPS://WWW.NAVYFAMILY.NAVY.MIL TO ACCOUNT FOR
EACH INDIVIDUAL REQUIRED TO BE REPORTED IAW REFS A THRU C.
D. EXPECT NFAAS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR SOUTHEAST GAOI AT 051200Z AND
PACIFIC GAOI AT 051900Z. IF NFAAS IS NOT AVAILABLE, REPORT THE STATUS
OF THE MUSTER TO THE CHAIN OF COMMAND AND REGION DESIGNATED PA POINT OF
CONTACT.
E. COMMENCE REPORTING WITH AVAILABLE INFORMATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,
DO NOT DELAY UNTIL INFORMATION IS COMPLETE.
F. PER REF D, FINEX WILL BE 092200ZMAY08 OR ALL PERSONNEL ACCOUNTED
FOR.
4. NAVY FAMILIES IN THE GAOI ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO LOG INTO NFAAS
TO GAIN FAMILIARITY WITH THE ABILITY TO UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION AND
COMPLETE A FAMILY NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY.

A. WILL BE CONDUCTED AT 1200Z 6-8 MAY AND FINEX FOR SOUTHEAST GAOI.
