RMKS/1.  This NAVADMIN announces the sundown of the Congressional Information 
Management System (CIMS) and migration to Department of the Navy (DON) 
Tasking, Records and Consolidated Knowledge Enterprise Repository (TRACKER) 
for commands using CIMS as a task management (TM) tool. 
 
2.  DON TRACKER was implemented as a TM solution in May 2017, per reference 
(a). With the expiration of CIMS licensing on 31 August 2021, DON TRACKER 
will become the single enterprise solution for TM; therefore, all CIMS users 
will transition to DON TRACKER. 
 
3. CIMS Data Migration. CIMS data migration will take place in a phased 
approach. 
    a.  First phase:  Commencing 25 August 2021, CIMS will convert to read-
only and active taskers will be migrated to DON TRACKER. All new TM functions 
will be performed in DON TRACKER.  Users will still be able to view taskers 
in CIMS. 
    b.  Second phase:  Commencing 31 August 2021, users will no longer be 
able to access CIMS.  Closed taskers will only be accessible through an 
offline database. Requests for access to the offline database may be 
addressed to the CIMS Data Migration Manager listed in paragraph 7. 
 
4.  CIMS will sundown on 1 September 2021.

identify their organization, contact the commands DON TRACKER organization 
administrator.
