RMKS/1. THIS NAVADMIN ANNOUNCES THE 32ND ANNUAL ASSOCIATION OF NAVAL SERVICES
OFFICERS (ANSO) LEADERSHIP, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING GENERAL
CONVENTION BEING HELD 6-10 AUGUST 2012 AT THE MANCHESTER GRAND HYATT, SAN
DIEGO, CA.
2. ANSO FOSTERS THE ADVANCEMENT AND RECOGNITION OF HISPANIC OFFICERS IN THE
UNIFORMED NAVAL SERVICES. THE 2012 CONVENTION THEME IS "ANSO: TODAY'S VISION-
TOMORROW'S REALITY".
3. UNIFORM FOR NAVY PERSONNEL WILL BE SERVICE KHAKI FOR E7 AND ABOVE AND
SERVICE UNIFORM FOR E6 AND BELOW. CIVILIANS SHOULD WEAR EQUIVALENT BUSINESS
ATTIRE. THE UNIFORM FOR THE FORMAL AWARDS BANQUET WILL BE DINNER DRESS WHITE
JACKET (OR OPTIONAL DINNER DRESS WHITE UNIFORM FOR O3 AND BELOW) AND BLACK TIE
(OR EQUIVALENT) FOR CIVILIANS AND GUESTS.
4. AUTHORIZATION TO EXPEND APPROPRIATED FUNDS FOR ATTENDANCE OR SUPPORT AT
THIS CONFERENCE IS PENDING OSD APPROVAL AND WILL BE PROMULGATED AT A LATER
DATE.
5. REGISTRATION, TRANSPORTATION, AND LODGING INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND ON THE
ANSO WEBSITE AT WWW.ANSOMIL.ORG. EARLY REGISTRATION FEES FOR THE ENTIRE
CONVENTION, INCLUDING THE AWARDS BANQUET, ARE $255 FOR LIFETIME MEMBERS, $325
FOR MEMBERS, $400 FOR NON-MEMBERS AND $100 DOLLARS FOR MIDSHIPMEN AND CADETS.
REGULAR REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $50 FOR ATTENDEES WHO REGISTER
AFTER 11 JULY 2012. EARLY DAILY REGISTRATION FEES ARE $125 FOR MEMBERS
(INCLUDING LIFETIME) AND $150 FOR NON-MEMBERS. REGULAR DAILY REGISTRATION
FEES (NOT INCLUDING THE BANQUET) WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $25 FOR ATTENDEES WHO
REGISTER AFTER 11 JULY 2012. SPECIAL RATES FOR GUEST ATTENDANCE AT THE
