(1) CONUS INSTALLATIONS. MAIL EXAMINATION ANSWER SHEETS VIA FEDEX
UNDER THE CURRENT GSA CONTRACT.
(2) OVERSEAS SHORE COMMANDS. SEND ADVANCEMENT EXAMINATION ANSWER
SHEETS VIA UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS) THREE-DAY EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE.

USPS.GOV.
(3) DEPLOYED SHIPS. SEND ADVANCEMENT EXAMINATION ANSWER SHEETS IN
REGISTERED MAIL WORKING BAG AND ADDRESSED TO THE POSTAL OFFICER, FLEET MAIL
CENTER IN THE DEPLOYED AREA AND ENDORSED (ADVANCEMENT EXAMINATION ANSWER
SHEETS ENCLOSED). IT IS IMPORTANT THIS ENDORSEMENT IS PLACED ON THE SECOND
LINE OF THE ADDRESS. THE POSTAL OFFICER WILL HAVE PACKAGE SENT VIA USPS THREE
DAY EXPRESS MAIL TO NETPDTC.
(4) DO NOT MIX CYCLES TOGETHER WHEN RETURNING ANSWER SHEETS. SEPARATE
EACH CYCLE AND MAIL INDIVIDUALLY.
(5) SELRES ARE TO TAKE INACTIVE RESERVE EXAMINATIONS. NEVER
ADMINISTER ACTIVE DUTY EXAMINATIONS TO SELRES CANDIDATES AS THESE WILL BE
INVALIDATED.

THROUGH NETPDTC'S EXAMINATION ORDERING SITE. CLICK ON EXAMINATION STATUS
VERIFICATION REPORT (ESVR), RATE CHANGE AUTHORIZATION (RCA), PROFILE SHEETS,
AND COMMAND STATISTICS. THE ESVR AND RCA ARE THE OFFICIAL SOURCES FOR NAVY
ADVANCEMENT EXAMINATION
RESULTS. VERIFICATION OF E7 ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES ARE PROVIDED TO COMMANDS VIA
THE ESVR.
ESOS MUST PROVIDE COPIES TO SUPPORTED ACTIVITIES UPON RECEIPT. INDIVIDUAL
SAILORS MAY ALSO VIEW/DOWNLOAD THEIR OWN PROFILE SHEET AFTER RESULTS ARE

6. SELECTION BOARD INFORMATION:
A. THE FY-13 SELRES/FTS E7 SELECTION BOARD WILL CONVENE 14 MAY 2012.
B. RECORDS REVIEW AND COMMUNICATION WITH THE E7 SELECTION BOARD. IF YOU
HAVE NEW INFORMATION THAT COULD NOT BE ENTERED INTO YOUR RECORD IN TIME, YOU
SHOULD SUBMIT THAT INFORMATION. INFORMATION, ALREADY INCLUDED IN YOUR RECORD
DOES NOT NEED TO BE RE-SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD.
(1) SELECTION BOARD PACKAGES PROVIDE CANDIDATES THE OPPORTUNITY TO
SUBMIT ANY MISSING DOCUMENTS FROM THE SECTIONS OF THEIR RECORDS WHICH ARE
VIEWED BY THE SELECTION BOARDS. REF I AND REF B CHAPTER 12 SPECIFY WHICH
DOCUMENTS FROM THE ENLISTED PERMANENT PERSONNEL RECORD ARE PROVIDED TO THE
SELECTION BOARD FOR REVIEW. CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THEIR BUPERS
ONLINE (BOL) WEB ENABLED RECORD OR REQUEST A COPY OF THEIR ENLISTED PERMANENT
PERSONNEL RECORD AS OUTLINED IN REF J AND VERIFY COMPLETENESS. ANY DOCUMENTS
THE MEMBER HAS VERIFIED AS MISSING FROM THOSE SECTIONS OF THEIR PERMANENT
PERSONNEL RECORD MAY BE SUBMITTED AS A SELECTION BOARD PACKAGE.
(2) COMMUNICATION TO THE BOARD (I.E. SUPPLEMENTAL CORRESPONDENCE AND
MESSAGES) POST-MARKED AFTER THE CUT-OFF DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF CORRESPONDENCE
BY CANDIDATES IS NO LONGER PERMITTED. THIS GUIDANCE SUPERSEDES REF B, CHAPTER
12 REGARDING CORRESPONDING WITH THE SELECTION BOARD.
(3) THIRD PARTY CORRESPONDENCE IS NOT PERMITTED.
(4) ALL CORRESPONDENCE SHOULD BE ON PLAIN WHITE PAPER FOR READABILITY,
PAPER CLIPPED (NO STAPLES, BINDERS, FOLDERS, OR TABS), AND SUBMITTED UNDER
COVER LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD. CANDIDATES MUST VERIFY THE
CORRECT SUBJECT LINE AND BOARD NUMBER (SEE BELOW) ARE ON THEIR COVER LETTERS
