RMKS/1. THIS NAVADMIN ESTABLISHES THE POLICY AND PROCEDURES FOR THE
EXECUTION OF THE COMMAND LEADERSHIP, INSTRUCTOR-LED GENERAL MILITARY
TRAINING (GMT). THIS MESSAGE SUPPLEMENTS AND MODIFIES THE POLICY
AND PROCEDURES OF REF A THAT SPECIFICALLY DEAL WITH GMT TRAINING AND
CANCELS REF B. REF A IS CURRENTLY BEING REVISED.
2. THESE CORE GMT LESSONS SUPPORT REF C, THE PRIORITY OF THE CNO
TO QUOTE TAKE CARE OF OUR SAILORS, NAVY CIVILIANS AND THEIR FAMILIES
UNQUOTE. THESE LESSONS FOCUS ON: RESPONSIBLE USE OF ALCOHOL
RESPONSIBLE PERSONAL BEHAVIOR (EQUAL OPPORTUNITY; SEXUAL
HARRASSMENT; GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES AND SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION AND
RESPONSE), ASK-CARE-TREAT (COURSE ON INTRODUCTION TO SUICIDE
PREVENTION), IMPROVING PERSONAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONAL
STRESS CONTROL AND ARE CONSIDERED MANDATORY ANNUAL IN-PERSON
TRAINING TO BE DELIVERED TO ALL UNIFORMED NAVY PERSONNEL.
3. IN LIGHT OF THE CRITICAL NATURE OF THESE CORE GMT LESSONS AND
THE IMPORTANCE OF POSITIVE LEADERSHIP INVOLVEMENT, THE GMT TRAINING
MATERIALS FOR THESE LESSONS WILL BE DELIVERED VIA INSTRUCTOR-LED
TRAINING SESSIONS PROVIDED BY COMMAND LEADERSHIP (OFFICERS, CHIEF
PETTY OFFICERS, OR COMMAND TRAINING TEAMS). PER REF D, TRAINING
COORDINATORS SHALL ENSURE THEIR COMMAND TRAINING TEAM MEMBERS HAVE
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE COMMAND TRAINING TEAM INDOCTRINATION
COURSE CIN: A-050-0001.
4. CORE LESSON MATERIALS, LESSON PLANS AND PRESENTATIONS, SHOULD BE
DOWNLOADED BY ACCESSING NAVY KNOWLEDGE ONLINE (NKO) AT
HTTP://WWW.NKO.NAVY.MIL, CLICK ON THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TAB, THEN
GMT LINK (LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN), THEN SELECT THE
LESSON FROM THE CORE LESSON CHANNEL.
5. TRAINING COMPLETION SHALL BE DOCUMENTED BY ALL COMMANDS VIA
FLEET TRAINING MANAGEMENT PLANNING SYSTEM (FLTMPS). COMMAND-
DELIVERED TRAINING IS RECORDED IN FLTMPS VIA SUBMISSION OF LEARNING
EVENT COMPLETION FORMS. DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FLTMPS

RECOMMENDED GMT LESSONS: ANGER MANAGEMENT, UNCLE SAM'S OPSEC,
OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT, DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND CONTROL,
TOBACCO PREVENTION AND CESSATION, PHYSICAL READINESS, AND CODE OF
CONDUCT LEVEL A. THESE LESSON MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE NKO
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT GMT PAGE IN THE COMMANDING OFFICER TRAINING
LIBRARY CHANNEL. COMMANDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE THESE LESSONS TO
MEET ADDITIONAL COMMAND ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS.
