RMKS/1.  This NAVADMIN announces the indefinite extension of reference (a), 
the High Year Tenure (HYT) Plus program, with modifications as described 
below.

2.  Active Component (AC) and Training and Administration of the Reserve 
(TAR).
    a.  With the exception of those paygrades specified by reference (a) and 
TAR E9, HYT Plus remains available to all AC and TAR paygrades effective 1 
October 2024.  At that time, TAR
E9 Sailors will have to meet HYT requirements in line with reference (b).
    b.  Waivers.  Sailors subject to HYT may request waiver of HYT 
requirements under the policy of reference (b).

3.  Selected Reserve (SELRES, drill with pay)
    a.  HYT Plus remains available to all SELRES paygrades with the exception 
of SELRES Command Master Chiefs and SELRES Command Senior Chiefs effective 1 
October 2024.  At that time, Sailors in these ratings and paygrades will have 
to meet HYT requirements in line with reference (c).
    b.  For all SELRES paygrades participating in HYT Plus, Navy reserve 
activities are required to submit detailed list of all updated HYT obligated 
service and projected rotation dates to BUPERS-352 at BUPERS-352@navy.mil.
    c.  Waivers.  Sailors subject to HYT may request waiver of HYT 
requirements under the policy of reference (c).

4.  All other policies outlined in reference (a) not addressed in this 
announcement remain unchanged.
